Data Transfer Options

All our Attendance and Access Control Systems like data transfer devices, electronic data transfer system, electronic data transfer devices are supplied with in-built data transfer / transportation.6t. There are various modes to send data to a defined destination through data transfer devices, electronic data transfer system and electronic data transfer devices. Data can be transfer or transported from the attendance and access control machines using following modes:
TCP/IP (10/100Mbps RJ45 Network interface)
Serial port (RS 232 Baud Rate upto 115200)
Through email using SMTP protocol with MIME support
USB pen drive interface (at extra cost)

TCP/IP (10/100Mbps RJ45 Network interface)

Now days network is most common in all type of business premises. In this mode every reader connect to network through RJ45 connector , every reader is assigned with one IP. All data communication takes place trough network only.

Serial Port (RS 232 Baud Rate upto 115200)

Serial port is suitable for small premises where readers are few and network is not available. In this mode each reader will connect to one COM port of computer. This is slow mode of communication and distance of reader from computer is also limited. If distance is longer dialup modem can be used to connect reader through telephone line.

Through Email using SMTP protocol with MIME support

Our readers are highly advanced and equipped to send mails independently, without involvement of computer. Reader has to be in network where it can access email server. Reader can be configured to send data via mail to assigned email address. In this mode reader will send all punching of previous day by email.

USB Pen Drive Interface (at extra cost)

Our readers are USB enabled. On inserting USB pen drive it detects drive automatically create folders of that reader and copy complete punching data date wise on pen drive. This option is suitable for remote locations where any other communication mode is not available.
